Soccer Game for iPhone - FIFA 10 for iPhone the game review

"Soccer or football is madly popular as the soccer world cup 2010 began. This also gave the ideal opportunity for game developers to "re-invent" new games to the end user. However thanks to the iPhone domination in the mobile phone market coupled with its top performing hardware, soccer games for iPhone are pouring in too. This is the review of the soccer video game for iPhone called FIFA 10"
EA sports made sure to release a soccer game for iPhone as soon as the "heat" hit the soccer fans. The game is called FIFA 10.  Anyway there are still few things that EA can work on to improve the FIFA 10 but the game it self is really interesting.

The game-play is smooth and bug free in comparison with the other soccer game for iPhone out there. With the help of the virtual analogue "joystick" playing the game is not that hard and can be really fun.  From Goal shooting, running, ball passing and many other aspects of this soccer game performs well so some credits to EA.

However while passing the ball in a long way or known as a "long ball" is a bit difficult, it requires a double tap on the touch sensitive display, with the first tap dictating the strength of the pass. It works well  in isolation, but is tough to pull off consistently in a match situation. But anyway this is not a shortcoming of the game but a matter of experience of the EA 10 game play.

Starting options include a single player mode and climb the ladder and become manager and a pro. Reaching the end result could take you couple of weeks or months as in my case (I'm terrible). When in the manager mode you can possess football clubs and "buy" players, do plannings and some tactical improvements in the game play.

Anyway apart from the difficulty when long passing the ball, with this soccer game for iPhone so far no errors encountered. This is not the greatest graphics for a football game, but then again with the arrival of the latest iPhone 4 with its twice as fast as its predecessor things can change in the near future. So we could hope for a stunning graphic soccer game for iPhone from EA in the coming days, hopefully!

Thank for reading my blog on mobile phone news and reviews
