When you read this review the iPhone 4 could already be in your hands. It's just few hours away for the new iPhone 4 release. Anyway what I've tried here is to put some information which I found about the new iPhone 4 from here and there. I'll try to put it together in a briefing manner and hope that it'll be useful to you before going to buy the new iPhone 4.
There are many difference in the new iPhone 4 when comparing it with the "old" iPhone 3GS. The first notable difference is the major jump in the screen resolution. iPhone 3GS had a 16M (million) color display with a resolution of 480 by 320 (163 ppi) and the new iphone 4 includes a staggering 960 by 640 (326 pixel per inch) 16M.

What this simply means that you'll get more clear pictures with iPhone 4 (at least twice the amount in quality!). The camera also is updated from 3 megapixles to 5 megapixles. The iPhone 4 even give you the ability to edit your recorded videos (in HD quality) while inside the phone. This is because the new iphone 4 includes a faster processor than its predecessors.The camera also comes with LED light too. The new iPhone 4 also comes with a front camera with VGA resolution. This can come in handy for those who use Skye. Apple claim that the display resolution of the new iPhone is actually is the highest resolution used in any mobile phone ever!.
The video playback features has jumped from 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second (H.264 video, up to 1.5 Mbps) to an impressive H.264 video up to 720p, 30 frames per second. Although when in comparison this isn't much of difference at all.

The talk time is also better than the iPhone 3GS (7 hrs talk time in 3G with iphone 4 which was 5 with iphone3GS). The new iOS4 comes with the new iPhone too, including the long awaited multitasking and many more GUI improvements.
